SteelSeries launch the Arctis 9X headset for the Xbox One

Headset manufacturer SteelSeries have announced the Arctis 9X for the Xbox One, which has been designed in conjunction with Microsoft and is the first headset to ever connect directly to the console, just like a controller, meaning a complete end to any wires or cables. The Arctis 9X also promises a 20 hour battery life, and simultaneous Bluetooth, meaning you can connect to a phone at the same time, so you can chat to the wife whilst still shooting enemies in the face, or, in my case, playing Rocket League!

The Arctis 9X also features a noise cancelling microphone – just like the ones used on aircraft carriers(!), and the usual controls on the headset to adjust volume, and the levels between game and chat.

To purchase the Arctis 9X, or to get further information, check out the official website.
